What is Wallbreaking?
To break a wall is to acknowledge a reader's existence. It is used many times in literature, tv shows and movies - mainly for comedic effect but will be used in this new revamped blogging site as a how-to on personal development.
So what do you mean by wall-breaking, you may ask?
Wall-breaking , in this context, is best defined by breaking the walls that you may have built around you. You may have built these walls for many different reasons; family, friendships,a break-up, the passing of a loved one and etcetera, the list can go on and on. All of which can have an enormous affect on you.
Sometimes the meaning behind building a wall around you can be a whole lot simpler than you might think. You can build a wall made out of bricks to hide your physical imperfections (i.e. with makeup) and psychological imperfections (i.e. your personality). You may be afraid of subjection to the personal opinion of others or simply you may feel as though you are inadequate in today's society and don't worry, you are not alone.
Many people build a wall around them. This can be a good and bad thing. Good for professionalism to separate your work life from your personal life. Bad for personal development because you can lose yourself in the phantom personality that you are trying to create.
In this blogging website, I aim to help people come out of their shells. I'm not a professional psychologist but simply a random person who cares enough to show you the ropes on how to break that wall you may have created around you, let those beautiful true colours come out and learn to love those colours because at the end of the day we are all beautiful, inside and out.
